Tyra Banks who starred alongside Lindsay Lohan in Disney's Life-Size in 2000 appears to be working on the sequel currently.

Banks is reprising her role of Eve, who in the first film was a Barbie-like-doll that was brought to life and assumed a mother-like-figure role to Lohan's character Casey.

News of the sequel first surfaced in November 2012, which Entertainment Weekly reported.

It was revealed then that Banks would also be executively producing the sequel. Plus, Eve's theme song Be a Star will get a makeover.

Last January it was then revealed through Digital Spy that pre-production was happening. Banks mentioned she was attending a meeting "to go over the script" and guessed the sequel would release in 2015.

Banks was thrilled to see fans of the first movie excited about the sequel.

This year does seem to be the year the movie will release especially with Banks teasing fans on Twitter about her character.

On Jan. 19 she tweeted, "Gosh, after all these years Eve still can't cook, type or ride escalators without lookin' crazy."

A fan revealed if the sequel were coming they'd cry, which Banks replied to, saying, "I AIN'T PLAYIN'".

When Banks spoke with Digital Spy she shared the sequel "will be very different, very different. Very modern - a modern take."
