Jane's (Simon Baker) wits will be put to the test when an alleged psychic offers to lend his expertise to the FBI. Brought in to consult on a pair of murders, the medium's gift may really just be a smoke screen to hide his crimes, particularly once he starts leading the cops to a host of additional bodies.

Baker's character has always upheld the belief that there is no such thing as a real psychic, but the CBS drama has not broached the topic since the death of Red John. Presuming this new character is faking, it won't be long before Jane's crafty mind finds a way to trap him in his own lies.

 Set to air as episode 11, "Byzantium" will be preceded by "Copper Bullet" and "Nothing Gold Can Stay." Following the Feb. 11 instalment, The Mentalist will only have two episodes left - "Brown Shag Carpet" and "White Orchids."
