While the woods quickly became the Sky People's temporary home, the kudzu-layered grove has proved less than safe. However, some may find themselves longing for the shelter of the trees when The 100 heads to the ocean in "Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2."

"Last big day of shooting on #the100 S2 finale," series creator Jason Rothenberg announced on Saturday. "We built an ocean! Bad things happen in it. One of them will not be the crew throwing me in."

What fresh horrors could await the Sky People at the beach? Rothenberg's "bad things" will certainly have to do with the "merciless" storyline that was previously teased by writer Aaron Ginsburg.

"It's so insane, and it's so big, and it's completely not what you would see on The CW," Ginsburg told the Nerdist Writers Panel (via Pop Insomniacs) in regards to the finale. "It's merciless. It's really, really merciless."
