Her time in Pentonville hasn't been too horrific, but Ava (Maura West) will continue to worry about her safety after a guard threatened her life on General Hospital.

Bill Eckert Revealed As Fluke?

After her encounter with Madeline (Donna Mills), Ava was threatened by a guard who warned he would kill her. She managed to then sneak over to the men's side of the prison and talk to Julian (Michael DeVry) about what happened-and the two began thinking that Sonny (Maurice Benard) wasn't responsible for the attempt, and that it was orchestrated by their boss.

However, after she was caught on that side of the prison, Ava was escorted away by the same guard again-and could now be in big danger.

The Drama In Pentonville Heats Up

"Damnit, where are you taking me?" she screams in the clip as the guard leads her somewhere unfamiliar.

Whatever is going on with the guard, it is unclear who could really be targeting Ava. Sonny didn't appear to be the one orchestrating the attacks-but even though he and Julian have formed a tentative alliance as they plot an escape, Sonny could still be remembering his initial plan to kill Ava in retribution for Connie's death-and could be passing the warning to Julian to make sure he knows he hasn't forgotten that they're usually enemies.

"Your sister's going to have to get some protection," Sonny warns Julian in the clip.

It could be a time where Sonny isn't threatening to still try and kill Ava however-and he could be starting to truly form a soft spot for the Jeromes.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
