Actress Kristin Chenoweth recently spoke about whether or not she would return for the final season of Fox's Glee.

Chenoweth played Will Schuester's (Matthew Morrison) former classmate April Rhodes in the first few seasons of Glee, a role which earned her an Emmy nomination. She returned for the 100th episode in season 5 along with several other guest stars.

The actress spoke with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live this week where she was asked if she would return to her role as April in the final season of Glee.

"I think April Rhodes is somewhere very drunk and making passes at people she shouldn't be," Chenoweth speculated. "I don't know, I wonder, too. I don't know if she's just kind of faded away. I loved her. What a great part."

While Chenoweth did not seem to confirm or deny either way, her speaking in the past tense about April and speculating on where she might be suggests that she will not be returning for the final season.

The final season of Glee is currently underway with four episodes already aired. The episode count for the final season is 13, a sharp decline from the usual 20-22 episode seasons. Unfortunately, the show has been receiving very low ratings for Fox for its final season but at least they are getting to end the show knowing that the conclusion is ahead.

Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
