As a singer herself, Carrie Underwood has been feeling a lot of pressure to make sure she introduces her son to quality music.

The Something In The Water singer talked about moving into her third trimester with CMT on Monday.

"I find myself wanting to expose him to good music," explained Underwood. "So if there's certain things on the radio, I'll be like, 'No, no. We can't listen to that.' And I'll turn it, then I'll find something incredible that I grew up listening to. I'm like, 'Let's teach him this early'."

So what does her baby boy think of her own music? Does he enjoy kicking as she performs? Not exactly.

Apparently her son is pretty quiet when she's performing live, though he's eager to kick and move around when she's relaxing at home.

"I don't feel that much kicking while I'm singing," laughed the singer. "Because maybe my stomach muscles are probably bouncing him around in there."

Chances are that Underwood's son won't be rattled by her music for long. After all, having a Grammy-winning mom doesn't hurt when it comes to lullabies.

Underwood and husband Mike Fisher, who is an NHL player for the Nashville Predators, announced that they are expecting their first child together back on Sept. 1. Their baby boy is due this spring, though the couple has elected to keep the precise due date a secret for the time being.
