He has been hearing Paul's (Christopher Sean) endless stories about losing the man he loved a long time ago, but Will (Guy Wilson) will be in for a big shock when he realizes the man Paul is talking about is none other than his own husband on Days of Our Lives.

Will Confesses To Kate About His Affair

He and Paul have met up once more to discuss the article Will is writing on him, about Paul's shoulder surgery, the end of his baseball career, and now, his official decision to come out and admit to the world that he is gay. During the interview, Paul opened up to Will about losing the man he loved and wanted to marry because at the end of the day he couldn't reveal his true self, for fear of losing his contract with his team. As a result, the man he loved left, and eventually went on to meet and marry someone else.

And though Will is currently unaware of who Paul could be referring to, he could finally find out, as Sonny (Freddie Smith) has also now arrived at his office with plans for a romantic night out, something the two haven't had lately. And when he walks in the door and sees Paul sitting there, the truth could finally come out that he was the one Paul had been with and loved so deeply-and it could cause another rift between the young married couple.

Paul Learns A Big Secret About Will

However, that portion of the truth won't even be nearly as messy as the part that is being kept from Sonny. Will and Paul both had no idea that Sonny was the man in either of their lives, and Paul didn't even know Will was married. When Paul finally admitted he was gay to Will, the two wound up giving in to the chemistry between them and had sex. If Sonny learns the two slept together, not only will it cause a potentially unfixable problem in his marriage to Will-it will destroy any hopes Paul has for also winning him back some day as well.
