In a recent interview, Jake Johnson spoke about his character in Jurassic World, jokingly stating that his character gets murdered before the movie starts and it is mostly a backstory.

Chris Pratt Talks About "Epic Spectacles" In Jurassic Franchise  

Johnson, who will don the role of Lowery, spoke to MTV about his experience working with Colin Trevorrow, whom he has worked with before on Safety Not Guaranteed.  

"It's the question I've never gotten," Johnson said, "about how normal it was between action and set. ... When Colin calls, 'Quiet!' It's just like, 'Alright, now I'm working with Derek and Colin's words.'"

What We Know So Far About Jurassic World  

On further prodding to get spoilers for the movie, Johnson played smart and chose to joke about how his character is not in the movie at all, being funny about it.

"I got cut out of the movie," he said. "I'm murdered before the movie even starts. My character is all back story."

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, and Ty Simpkins.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
