Ludacris has just been awarded full custody of his 13-month-old daughter, Cai.

After a long battle in family court, the rapper and Fast and Furious actor received primary physical custody of a child he fathered with his ex-girlfriend, Tamika Fuller.

In a statement to People magazine, Ludacris said, "After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter."

During the court battle, Ludacris and Fuller were at odds. According to Fuller, Ludacris was against the pregnancy entirely, and even allegedly offered her $10,000 to have an abortion. Fuller also claimed she wanted her child support payments raised. Ludacris, meanwhile, denied having recomended she get an abortion, and insisted he could provide a better environment for the child.

Prior to his appearance in court, Ludacris celebrated the holidays with an over-the-top proposal to girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue. After the rapper asked Mbouguiyengue to marry him from their private jet, she accepted, and the pair were married later that same day, surrounded by friends and family. The pair had been dating since 2009.

Ludacris is also the father of 13-year-old daughter, Karma, from a previous relationship.
