An insider told the publication that Jolie called him a "coward."

"When he tried to comfort her, she pushed him away and said, 'Don't touch me,'" the insider told Life & Style.

After trying to comfort her and being pushed away, he gave up the nice guy routine.

"He stormed out of the room, put some personal belongings in a bag and took off," the insider recalled.

The couple has been together for about a decade and has six children together, but they only tied the knot in August.

Apparently, the insider is concerned about their marriage.

Meanwhile, TheWrap reported on Monday that Pitt is in negotiations to play Richard Leakey in Jolie's Africa.

Though Skydance declined to comment and Pitt's representative didn't immediately respond, Pitt and Jolie have teamed together before. They worked together on both By the Sea and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
