She's been more famous lately for her open and honest admissions about her marriage to Donnie Wahlberg, but Jenny McCarthy's previous views about vaccinating children are once again causing the radio host to come under fire from her critics.

Jenny McCarthy Tries Convincing Donnie Wahlberg To Do Something Uncomfortable

Following the recent outbreak of measles at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, the argument about whether or not kids should be vaccinated has once again been put in the headlines-and McCarthy's previously perceived stances about vaccinations (which she once claimed caused her son's autism) is yet again causing many to place her under fire.

Most recently, McCarthy was taken on by Larry Wilmore of The Nightly Show, who covered the story and asked why the idea that vaccinating children was still popular-blaming McCarthy for spreading the idea in his comedic rant.

"Oh for f-ks sake, Jenny McCarthy?!?!?!?!" he asked on his show after showing clips that hinted that the actress and radio show host helped spread the idea that vaccinations caused autism-which is being credited to parents skipping over the vaccines all together.

Added to the criticism against McCarthy, a new article in The Washington Post seems to hint that she has decided to do her reality show with Wahlberg, Donnie Loves Jenny, in an effort to try to improve her image-something the article argues is happening far too late.

"So, McCarthy chose the route of so many misguided B-listers aiming to repair a public image: A reality show," th article reads. "...But it's too little, too late. She's already spoken too much about vaccinations. And now the topic is back in the headlines more than ever, thanks to the Disneyland measles outbreak. No matter how much McCarthy wants to humanize herself to the grater viewing public (an average of about a million people tuned in to the first several episodes), she's got a long way to go."

Neither McCarthy nor Wahlberg have spoken out about the current backlash.
