Scorpion's Toby and Happy may have eyes for each other, but there's plenty standing in the way of their budding relationship.

The mechanical prodigy and the psychiatrist have grown closer as the CBS drama moved through the first half of season 1, but Happy (Jadyn Wong) may need to travel down a long road of healing before she can enter into a romantic tryst with her fellow cyclone member.

"Toby and Happy have their own unique challenges, so it would be an interesting pairing," Wong told The Star. "I can't say where I hope it will go next though. Happy is a foster child, she's got some trust issues, so she doesn't let anyone in easily."

That doesn't mean the pair will never end up together, however. Ever since their time in Bosnia, the two members of team Scorpion have become aware of each other's feelings, and there is a chance they could chose to escalate their friendship in the second half of the season.
