Longmire won't return for a fourth season for at least a few months, but fans looking for a quick fix will be able to get ahold of the crime drama's third season on Blu-ray this spring.

'Longmire' Stars Met By Special Guest In NYC 

The three-disc set will be released on March 3, which happens to coincide with the start of production for Longmire's upcoming season.

According to Blu-ray.com on Friday, Warner Archive's Blu-ray set will include all of the season's episodes as well as The Ghost In The Storm. This documentary featurette will look at loss, destiny, and the struggle against inner demons, all of which have remained prominent themes for the program.

Why 'Longmire' Might Be A New Kind Of Cult Classic 

Longmire struggled after its third season, when A&E chose to drop the series from the network in pursuit of programming deemed more enticing for advertisers. At the time of cancellation, Longmire had been the network's highest-rated scripted series and the second highest-rated series behind the reality program Duck Dynasty.

The show lingered in limbo for months, receiving overwhelming support from fans of the series through social media. Online campaigns and petitions were launched in an attempt to keep the spirit of the show alive. In November the series found salvation when Netflix picked it up for production. Soon after the writers returned to work developing the new season. Production is set to begin in March.  

Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
