'Real Housewives of Orange County' Couple Slade Smiley, Gretchen Ross Want Baby First, Then Marriage

First comes love then, comes the baby in the baby carriage?

Real Housewives of Orange County star, Gretchen Rossi, 34, plans on marrying her fiance Slade Smiley, 36, ... eventually, but first the couple wants to have a baby.

"We definitely will have a wedding one day, but right now we're focused on having a baby" Rossi told Celebuzz.

The couple is dedicating all of their time towards having their first child; they want a new edition as soon as possible, and Rossi is eager to be a first-time mom. The couple has even picked out names for the child to be. Rossi explained that they've chosen both boy and girl names, just to be safe.

Rossi told Celebuzz that "it would be really fun to have a girl," as fiance Smiley already has two sons from a previous relationship.

"But we'll see," she said.

Rossi and Smiley were affectionate with each other at the In Touch magazine Idols & Icons MTV VMA after-party on Sept. 6 in Los Angeles. Smiley lovingly watched his fiancé walk the red carpet. So how does the reality TV couple make their relationship work on-and-off screen?

 "It's funny because the impression most people get is that I wear the pants but in reality he is the man and wears the pants and he loves me being the woman and being strong and independent, but I'd say he definitely wears the pants," Rossi explained.
