Former Power Rangers actor Ricardo Medina Jr. has been arrested for stabbing his roommate to death.

Medina, who is well known for his role on Power Rangers Wild Force, was arrested on Saturday after authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call saying that his roommate Joshua Sutter had been stabbed.

On Monday, ABC reported that Medina called 911 after stabbing Sutter and he remained at the scene and was interviewed by detectives.

The Los Angeles Sherriff's Department released a statement saying that Medina and Sutter got into a heated argument at their home on Saturday afternoon, and things turned physical. During the argument, Media returned to his bedroom with his girlfriend, and Sutter forced himself into the room and Medina then stabbed him in the abdomen with a sword.

Sherriff's say that Suttor was transported to hospital were he succumbed to his injuries and died.

According to the site, the actor is currently being charged with murder and he's being held at the Palmdale Sheriff's station. Medina's bail has been set at one million dollars and the case is still under investigation.

According to Medina's IMDb page, the actor played the role of Cole Evans, the Red Lion Wild Force Ranger in the television series Power Rangers Wild Force. Medina is also one of the voices on the animated TV series Power Rangers and he was also featured on the video game.
