Over the weekend, an unexpected, and unwelcomed, guest tried to pay a visit to singer/actress Miley Cyrus by means of trespassing, including what some are saying perhaps a pass at burglary.

Reports said that early Saturday morning, Sept. 8, a man jumped the fence onto Cyrus' Los Angeles- area home  and knocked on the star's door, claiming he knew her, before repeatedly throwing himself against the wall of her house.

Cyrus was out of town at the time but 911 was called by someone in the house, Yahoo! reported, and the man was later caught hiding on Cyrus' property holding a pair of scissors.

TMZ has footage of the trespasser, who said during his arrest, "I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."

Many are suggesting that perhaps the man, named Jason Luis Rivera, was holding scissors as a nod to Cyrus' recently cut and dyed haircut, which she first debuted on Twitter weeks ago.

Rivera is being held on suspicion of burglary, the site reported, however, E! News included that he was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

"He thinks they were married," Lt. Brian Wendling, of the Los Angeles Police Department, said about the suspect. "And I would say delusional is a good characterization of him."

Cyrus has made no comment of the incident on her Twitter page and no official statement by her rep has been released at time of publication.
