The King of R&B, R. Kelly, reportedly, has not been paying his taxes.

According to Illinois documents, the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer owes $1,379,695.11 for unpaid taxes for 2011 alone, reported TMZ.

This isn't the first time hasn't filed his taxes; he acquired a $4,848.072.71 bill for not paying his taxes from 2005-2010.

His grand total: $6,227,767.82.

A spokesperson for Kelly told TMZ, "He takes this very seriously and is already communicating with the IRS about the payment process to quickly resolve the issue."

The Grammy winner and most successful R&B artist of all-time, isn't the best at paying his bills on time.

Kelly, whose first name is Robert, faced a $2.9 million foreclosure lawsuit on the mansion in July 2011 after her stop paying his mortgage in an attempt to force the bank to renegotiate its loan with him.

The Chicago Tribune reported that his six-bedroom mansion in Chicago's Lakeview area was being sold for $1.595 even though Kelly had originally bought it for $5.2.

Kelly has had more than just money problems, however. In June 2008, he was found not guilty on 14 charges regarding child pornography. Kelly had been accused of making a 27-minute sex tape with an underage female.

The singer is considered a Chicago success story; born and raised on the South Side, with an absent father, Kelly found success. He began performing during the late 1980s and made his debut in 1992 with the group "Public Announcement," according to the Daily Mail.

Kelly began his solo career in 1993 with the album "12 Play."
