Ryan Reynolds On Parenthood: 'I'm Just Excited About Having A Buddy'

"No that's not her name," the 38 year-old said during an interview with USA Today posted on Monday. "I don't want to get into that but I don't know where that came from."

On Monday, the actor sat down to talk about his new horror comedy The Voices, and while he didn't give away to many details about his new baby, such as her name, he did share a few things about being a new dad.

Reynolds admitted that being a father is definitely different and tiring, but he says that he and his wife don't have a nanny.

"It's still so new that it's hard to conceive being away for more than seven hours at a time," the actor said. "I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night's sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me."

The actor said that his daughter is up every 45 minutes, and while he doesn't get much sleep, he says that fatherhood is great.

"I don't sleep very much. It's great. It's wonderful. But my brain is elsewhere."

Viewers can see more of Reynolds in his new film The Voices, which hits big screens on Friday, Feb. 6.
