Andi Dorfman may be returning to reality TV.

Did Andi Dorfman And Josh Murray Break Up Several Months Ago?

Weeks after the reality star announced that she and Josh Murray had parted ways, a new report claims Dorfman may return to her former role on the upcoming season of ABC's The Bachelorette for a third chance at finding her perfect match.

On Wednesday, E! News announced Dorfman was the no. 1 contender for the next season of the hit series, claiming, "The crew and everyone loved her. It would be kind of cool to have her back."

Should Josh Murray Be The Next 'Bachelor?'

Dorfman first appeared on reality TV in 2014, when she starred alongside Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley in The Bachelor season 18. Although Dorfman opted out of the show during season 8, she was brought back to ABC as The Bachelorette later that year. On the show, Dorfman met and fell in love with contestant Josh Murray, and the pair became engaged.

Then, on Jan. 8, the pair released a statement, revealing their decision to end their time together.

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," read their statement to Us Weekly. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."
