The Mikaelson siblings will be shocked to learn of Freya's return on The Originals this week.

Is Freya Coming To Steal Baby Hope Or To Save Her On 'The Originals'? 

On Wednesday The CW released an all new clip for the show's upcoming episode (featured below), teasing out just how Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will react to Rebekah's (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) return and news that their sister Freya (Riley Voelkel) is actually alive.

Though Klaus considered the possible reasons for Freya's return to be "ridiculous", he was concerned that her presence could mean that greater dangers are on the way. This means their Aunt Dahlia, who might just come to claim Klaus and Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) daughter, Hope.

Will 'Game-Changer' Lead To Jackson's Death On 'The Originals'? 

"It would be nice to know if the person who placed a curse on the first-borns of this family is still breathing air," spat a spiteful Klaus to Rebekah, who had not gotten much out of Freya the night before. Their bickering seems to reinforce that though Rebekah is now in a different body, she is still the same Mikaelson who has always argued with her stubborn brother.

Most of the siblings had never even known Freya as children, and so the new dynamic could shake things up a bit.

Freya has made Klaus even more agitated about protecting Hope, provoking him to again revisit his concern of Hayley marrying Jackson (Nathan Parsons).

"Perhaps I should take preventative measures," Klaus declared, "And separate him from his head."

The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
