Apparently Prince William and Kate Middleton don't know the sex of their second child after all.

Why Prince Charles Might Have A Problem With Kate Middleton's Family

On Thursday E! slammed OK Magazine's Wednesday report that the royal parents are expecting a baby girl this spring.

"The couple do not know what the sex of the baby is," the palace confirmed with E!.

OK Magazine had claimed that William and Kate recently viewed an ultrasound which confirmed the sex of the child. The publication also insisted that the couple was planning on naming their daughter Diana, after William's late mother.

While the sex of the baby has yet to be determined it is still likely that the couple would opt for Diana if the baby is a girl. The name Elizabeth has also been floated around, according to E!.

OK Magazine has yet to comment on the discrepancy. The source, which allegedly provided the publication with its information, was reportedly an unidentified staff member inside the palace.

It looks like one-year-old Prince George won't know if he's getting a brother or a sister just yet. Rumors have been circling for months though, only adding to the public's eagerness to find out the truth. Kate has noted during her public appearances that the baby is an active little one, often kicking as she attended charity events in London last month.

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
