It seems that no one can truly confirm or deny whether or not the producers of The Bold and the Beautiful are going to recast the iconic role of Hope Logan, but new rumors may be suggesting someone has already landed the role.

Has B&B Changed Their Minds About Recasting Hope?

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the story about who could possibly be replacing Kim Matula in the role she vacated back in December is still unconfirmed, as different conflicting reports have both claimed that the role would and would not be recast. However, the show's producers and creators may be purposely putting out the conflicting information in order to keep the truth a secret.

According to the website, rumors are now claiming that those behind the soap are actually being very secretive about a Hope Logan recast because they may have already found the actress who would take over the role, but don't want to reveal who she is so they can keep her big reveal as a major surprise during February Sweeps.

When Matula exited the role, Hope had just suffered a nasty fall down a concrete staircase, which caused her to miscarry her baby with her husband, Wyatt (Darin Brooks).  After the ordeal, Hope couldn't stay in Los Angeles anymore and then fled to Italy to be with her mother as se grieved her loss. Wyatt soon followed her to Italy as well.

Since the character's disappearance, both her mother and husband have since returned to L.A., but Hope has not been seen. It appears it could still be a while before she returns to the canvas however, as Wyatt's recent return also brought news that he and Hope had indeed ended their marriage, and Hope was planning on staying in Italy in the meantime as a result.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
