Tara Reid's fighting back after an embarrassing incident was caught by the paparazzi.

The actress was in St. Tropez on Sunday, a town in the southeastern region of France, where she flashed her underwear to cameramen while she and a girlfriend climbed onto a parked motorbike. The two fell from the vehicle and had to be helped up by a bystander before departing on a nearby boat.

Reid, 36, first brushed off what had happen. "What a night... I never laughed so hard ever ever I wish everyone the fun we had last night," the actress posted on Twitter the following day.

The situation changed on Tuesday when Reid blasted TMZ for publishing the claimed "drunken mess" video footage of what had taken place on Sunday. The actress lashed out at the editors of the gossip website and stated an accusation that she and her friend were pushed off of the motorbike by the photographers.

Reid took to Twitter saying, "Tmz are liars and they (are) always againt (against) me they pushed us down that's why we fell why don't u see how we fell? Its (sic) a set up!

"Look how it is edited they only (showed) u after they knocked us down in front of our own boat its so wrong and I will defend us this time 100 (per cent). That's why I was covering my face I knew I was getting set up so unfair its totally not right and I finally have had it stop picking on me!"

Reid is pushing against the allegations of her drunken exploits in favor of a new image for herself. In 2009, Reid entered into rehab at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu for issues related to alcohol addiction.

The actress is most famous for her roles in the American Pie movies . She recently reprised her role in this year's "American Reunion".
