On Monday, E! News reported that Jenner is set to star on the sitcom alongside Mindy Kaling as her best friend!
The Mindy Project star and creator took to Instagram to share the news with her followers.
The post on the social networking site reads: "Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best Friends? @krisjenner #comingsoon #themindyproject"
The photo featured the two celebrities standing next to a huge blow-up of Kris Jenner's headshot. Jenner was dressed in a long-sleeve, button-up, black jacket. Meanwhile, Kaling wore a bloe blazer over what seems to be a blue, white and black colored dress.
The post on the star's Instagram page got nearly 42,000 likes and countless comments from fans of the two who are dying to know what her role is going to be like and how long she will appear on the show.
Earlier in the year Kaling teased to E! News about an exciting guest star coming to the show. Could Jenner be who she was referencing?
"We have a guest star coming up this spring that I think is the single biggest, most exciting guest star we've ever had and I can't say who it is."
When asked for just a small hint, her response was: "No, I can't! But I'm really, really excited about it."
