Chelsea Handler told fans she was pregnant on Monday.

Along with an Instagram photo of her dog sitting in the passenger's seat of her car, the former Chelsea Lately host sparked rumors by seemingly announcing she was with child.

“It’s like a 24-hour watch. He must know I’m pregnant,” Handler wrote on Instagram on Monday.

In the past, the former talk show host has made it no secret that she has no desire to become a mother.

“I definitely don’t want to have kids,” Handler said in a 2013 interview, according to an In Touch Weekly report on Tuesday. “I don’t think I’d be a great mother. I don’t want to have a kid and have it be raised by a nanny. I don’t have time to raise a child. Childhood was heartbreaking enough for anybody. I don’t know that I could handle my own child, especially if I had a girl, going through what I went through growing up.”

Although Handler's fans were in quite the uproar over her alleged pregnancy after her Instagram photo was posted, she has since set the record straight, sharing a second photo of herself lifting up her shirt with the caption, "Wake up, people. I would never do that to a baby."

Handler also said she had no plans for children in a 2011 interview with CNN. At the time, she revealed whether or not marriage was in her future, as well.
