Teen Wolf will welcome Pretty Little Liars' Cody Christian to Beacon Hills in season 5.

The MTV drama commenced filming for the 20-episode season on Monday, and Tuesday morning brought the announcement of the series' first new casting.

Christian, who currently portrays Mike Montgomery in the deadly suburbs of Rosewood, will move to a town with an even higher mortality rate when he takes on the role of Theo on Teen Wolf.

An oddly old 19-year-old senior, Theo will be of the lycanthropic persuasion and will come to supernaturally endowed Beacon Hills in search of a new pack. As with all newcomers to the California town, Theo will have a mysterious past.

"He's described as athletic and charming yet covert, and while it may appear that the young adult is new to town, his past might suggest otherwise," MTV teased.

Theo will make his debut in the season 5 premiere, "Creatures of the Night."
