Kristen Stewart is still deeply in love with Robert Pattinson.

Despite the success she achieved with her first public appearance when she attended the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, Sept. 6, Stewart is still hoping the former couple can reconcile.

"Kristen is clinging onto the belief that Robert will eventually forgive her for the cheating scandal and they will get back together," said a source, according to RadarOnline.

Stewart had success in Toronto both on and off the red carpet. Fans of the "Twilight" star told local media they stood outside for hours to catch a glimpse of the beautiful brunette at the red carpet premiere for her film "On the Road." Additionally, reports claim that actor James Franco asked the "Twilight" star out to dinner in Toronto and also asked for her phone number.

However, "She doesn't want to even picture the idea of Robert meeting someone else, despite her recent flirtation with James Franco, because it fills her with dread," the source told the site.

The source also revealed that the 22-year-old is staying at a new house she bought in Malibu with her mother temporarily until Pattinson decides where he will make his next permanent move.

"It's a temporary home for Kristen for the time being, but she's praying that when Robert finds a new place, whether it's in Los Angeles or London, they could maybe start over again," the source said. "It's still all up in the air. Robert has no idea what he wants to do and he's dithering over a decision. He loves Kristen, but his family told him to forget about any ideas he has of taking her back."

"Time will soon tell and the ball is in Robert's court. If he can forgive, forget and make the brave decision of letting his heart rule over his pride they may get back together," the source continued.

A source close to Pattinson told Hollywood Life that the "Cosmopolis" star doesn't want to "date anyone" - he wants to focus on his career.

"Rob doesn't want to date anyone; he wants to put all his efforts into his work," said the source. "He is eager to be on set and away from all the hoopla."

Stewart has shown other signs of not moving on from her three-year relationship with the British hunk. When she arrived in Toronto on Wednesday, Sept. 5, she was snapped wearing his T-shirt with the word "Irie" across the front of it. On her way to her return flight at a Toronto airport on the following Sunday, she was wearing her ex's Baltimore Orioles baseball cap.
