New photos show Lindsey Vonn crying, giving speculation on how this happened.

Is Lindsey Vonn Taking Away From Tiger Woods' Golf Game?

On Tuesday, Daily Mail shared photos of champion skiier, Lindsey Vonn, in tears. But not because of boyfriend Tiger Woods.

These tears were because she disqualified in the world championship in front of her home crowd in Beaver Creek, Colorado.

The four-time world champion reportedly smiled and waved to the crowd, but as soon as she thought she was out of view, she let loose and began crying.

She reportedly lost the championship when she recorded a "did not finish" for straddling a gate in the slalon section which means that her run counted for absolutely nothing.

In an emotional and obviously hard interview following the race, she could barely speak.

"It's the hometown championship and I really tried as hard as I could and I just - I came up short and that's disappointing for myself and for my family and for my fans," she said. "I just didn't figure out this hill at all and I was especially disappointed today because I actually skied a really good slalom the last two days and I thought I had a chance of getting a medal."

Following the loss, she took to Instagram to let people know she would keep working hard. The photo featured her in all-black ski clothing with a quote that read: "Even if you bhave setbacks and you have bad days, you have to believe in yourself that things are going to turn around."
