Prince William and Kate Middleton are saying thank you this month to the builders who designed their new nursery.

Kate Middleton's Family Following In Her Footsteps

On Wednesday OK revealed that they are throwing a party for the construction crew as a "thank you" for all their hard work.

The crew worked on the couple's nursery, as well as a $3 million renovation at Amner Hall. The roof was fixed and the nursery improved upon for William and Kate's one-year-old son George, as well as his new brother or sister. The garden room was also renovated, and a series of trees were added to the driveway in order to create a more private setting.

How Motherhood Is Shaping Kate Middleton

The investment is well worth it to the prince and princess, who will be spending even more time at the property after their second child is born. The 10-bedroom home is over 200 years old and had been gifted to the couple by William's grandmother, the Queen of England.

William and Kate haven't spent much time at the residence since Christmas. In January William resumed his studies, while Kate attended a number of charity events at recreation centers and schools throughout London. Recently they joined Kate's family in the Caribbean for a brief getaway, though they returned to their royal duties this week. Kate in particular has made it her mission to help underprivileged children, which has become increasingly important to her as both a mother and a human being.

Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
