According to Us Weekly on Thursday Princess Kate remained cozy in her Max Mara "Villar" coat, which accented her baby bump as the 33-year-old cradled her stomach.

Her visit to Ben Ainslie Racing and the 1851 Trust in Portsmouth was designed to encourage young people to get involved with sailing, which is something the princess was more than happy to do.

Sailing happens to be one of Kate's older hobbies. As a teenager the princess took a year off in between high school and college in order to sail around the world.

During her visit in Portsmouth, Kate painted in some little sailors for the new mural at the 1851 Trust headquarters.

Art teacher James Waterfield, who assisted with the mural, said that the princess regretted not having brought her one-year-old, Prince George, to the event. "[George] loves painting," Kate had told him, adding that he would have enjoyed being there.

Kate will continue with her royal duties and charity work, which began in January, over the next few weeks. During this time her husband, Prince William, will be attending to his studies. It is uncertain whether or not Kate will decided to bring little George along for some of her later appearances this month, though the princess often talks about the boy while she is away.

Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
