When Kristen Stewart said she and estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson were "going to be fine" she meant it.

According to a report, Stewart and Pattinson have reconciled and are now back together again just two months after photos surfaced of the "Twilight" actress having an affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" film director Rupert Sanders.

A source told The Sun that Pattinson has forgiven the 22-year-old for her "really stupid mistake."

"They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other," said the source. "Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake."

"Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out. Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other. For now they are focusing on themselves," the source added.

The reconciled couple has now moved into a secluded home in a Los Angeles compound near Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's house, claims the report.

Kristen Stewart addressed her relationship with Robert Pattinson for the first time on Sept. 8. She was asked by reporters how she was going to handle potentially awkward scenarios with Pattinson when it came time to promote "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2" in November.

"We're going to be fine, we're totally fine," said Stewart.

Stewart has been in hiding after US Weekly published photos in July of the actress kissing and hugging Sanders.

Stewart and Sanders quickly issued public apologies to their significant partners.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," wrote Stewart.

Sanders told People magazine: "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

When the "On The Road" star finally returned to the public eye, she was photographed wearing Pattinson's caps and t-shirts; a sign that she was not giving up on patching things up with him.

The couple will appear on the red carpet together in November for the final "Twilight" film, according to the report.

On Aug. 28, several reports indicated that the former couple may get back together after an emotional, hour-long phone conversation. After not speaking for a while, Pattinson reportedly decided the time was right to see Stewart and have a frank face-to-face discussion about the status of their relationship.

"[Stewart] begged to meet face to face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her," a source said.

The fourth "Twilight" movie, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," will arrive in theaters nationwide on November 16.
