Fall TV Schedule 2012: Premiere Dates For The Rest Of September [LIST]

The fall TV season is just getting started.

A handful of the season's hottest shows have already premiered, but the remainder of September brings a treasure chest of returning favorites and new pilots looking to find the right audience.

Some of the most awaited premieres of the year — like Britney Spears' debut on "The X Factor" and Ryan Murphy's new sitcom "The New Normal" — already hit the airwaves earlier this month, but there are plenty buzzworthy shows still in the pipeline.

Viewers can catch two brand new dramas tonight. "The Mob Doctor," which follows a surgeon with family debt to the mob, premieres on Fox at 9 p.m. Also bowing this evening is NBC's "Revolution," an apocalyptic drama set in the future from "Lost" creator J.J. Abrams.

Also on tap for this week are premieres for "Parks and Recreation" and the final season of "The Office."

But the schedule gets truly packed next week, when each day is filled with hits like "How I Met Your Mother," "New Girl" and "Modern Family."
