The season finale of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" was extra special for the show's fans.

Television viewers were able to join the Kardashian brood in witnessing Kourtney give birth to Penelope Scotland Disick.

The reality TV family allowed the camera to roll before and after the birth of her second child.

Kourtney and her longterm boyfriend Scott Disick were joined by her mother Kris, all four sisters, and younger brother Rob in the delivery room to watch their newborn enter the world.

Prior to the birth, Kourtney expressed her fears on camera.

"I'm feeling very emotional and anxious. Even though I've done all this before," she said.

The show featured Kourtney pushing baby Penelope out and her family member's reactions to it. Surprisingly, she remained pretty calm throughout the delivery process. After Penelope arrived, Kourtney couldn't contain her excitement.

"It's such a magical feeling to say hello to my baby girl," said Kourtney while her mother cried.

"Watching my daughter give birth, it reminds me, it doesn't get better than this," said Kris.

When Kourtney introduced Penelope to her first child, two-year old son Mason, he made his parents laugh when he became confused by her name.

"Her name is Penelope," Kourtney told Mason.

"No, her name is sister," said Mason.

Earlier in the episode, the show ran Kourtney's baby shower. Her sister Kim and her boyfriend Kanye West were in attendance.

"It feels really good for Kanye to be here with my family," said Kim. "Just to see how close of a family we are. I really feel like I'm in a great relationship but I'm not going to rush it."

Khloe revealed her approval of Kim and Kanye's relationship.

"I'm happy that you guys are finally doing your thing. You understand each other's lives," Khloe told Kanye. She admits she feels it's one of "Kim's healthiest relationships."

"I think I'm very content. In every way," said West.

Kourtney Kardashian first introduced her newborn daughter Penelope Scotland Disick to her fans by appearing with her two children on the cover of US Weekly magazine.

The issue featured the reality star posing with the then five-week-old Penelope and her big brother, 2-year-old Mason.

"Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her," Kourtney told the magazine.

Kardashian, 33, gave birth to Penelope on July 8 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces. Scott Disick, her boyfriend of six years, is the father of both of her children.

Kourtney will begin filming her spinoff reality show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" on Monday, Sept. 17.

On Saturday, Sept. 15, Kourtney tweeted, "Adios NYC...hola Miami!"

Kim also shared her exitement for the trip when she captioned a picture of the "Welcome To Miami Beach" sign with, "Oh hi!!!!"

When the oldest Kardashian sister filmed "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," the pair stayed in a penthouse hotel suite. Last week, several reports revealed that Kim and Kourtney may pay close to $6 million for a temporary home to shoot the reality spin-off.

"Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" will air on E! in January, 2013.
