Kerry Washington returned to Studio 8H over the weekend to attend Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary special and stunned the red carpet in a white blazer dress. Not only was the Scandal actress invited to attend the television special, she also made a cameo during the hilarious sketch The Californians.

The 38-year-old actress played a scatterbrained doctor during the sketch and her Valley girl accent was beyond hillarious.

Washington hosted SNL in November of 2013 where she handled a heavy diversity mantle that tackled the lack of diversity within the show's cast.

During her opening sketch, Washington had to portray the role of First Lady Michelle Obama and media mogul Oprah Winfrey. Before the sketch began, the show jokingly mocked the fact that Washington would be portraying various African American women.

Hopefully Washington will be back on the SNL stage in the very near future. Fans can see more of their favorite actress staring in ABC's hit show Scandal, which airs every Thursday night at 9 p.m.
