NCIS star Sean Murray opened up on Twitter Monday all about his character Timothy McGee, including hair color and much more.

Murray, like most in the United States had Monday off for Presidents' Day, so he spent some time on Twitter interacting with fans of the CBS series.

Murray discussed his hair color with one fan since she was curious if the color he sports as McGee is natural.

"McGee has a lot of product in his hair so it looks darker much of the time," Murray shared.

Murray also talked scripts for the series, admitting that if the episode is a big one for his character he'll "steal an early script from one of the producers".

The actor also dished on all the silly nicknames his character has from Michael Weatherly's character Tony DiNozzo. It turns out they're all "usually scripted".

He also gets called "Baby Duck" by his fellow cast members on set, but admitted to a fan that asked about the nickname that it hasn't been used in a long time, yet Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto on the show) and Emily Wickersham (Ellie Bishop on the show) recently brought it up on set once again.

Murray also revealed to another fan that he keeps his thoughts on his character's backstory to himself, but "others may have their own ideas about McGee's past".

The actor also shared that they mostly film NCIS on a set in Los Angeles, but they have filmed in Washington, D.C. before.

Murray also dished on Mark Harmon (Gibbs on the show) not slapping anyone on the head unless it's in the script.

He revealed the Voodoo Tony doll from Season 11 has gone missing and he's bummed since he "had planned to keep him around for a while..."

Lastly, a fan asked about his thoughts on the fan base for the series.

He admitted that the show typically attracted an older audience, "but in recent years the youngsters have really jumped on-board (which is great)".
