As Arnold Schwarzenegger is starring in Terminator: Genisys in the role of Guardian to Sarah Connor, and will span his journey from the original up through the rest of the chapters in the franchise, an important question to ask is if he will feature in the two sequels.

Child Actor To Play SkyNet In Terminator: Genisys?

There is the possibility that Schwarzenegger, who is the only old actor on set, might exhaust the dimensions of his character with Genisys. It was also suggested that the sequels for Genisys will most likely be exploring new storylines, as the franchise would end up getting too repetitive otherwise. Although Schwarzenegger is the face of Terminator, Genisys has brought in an entirely new look with a a new starcast and as new plots are explored they might move forward without him. But at the same time, Schwarzenegger delivers his iconic line in the teaser, telling Sarah that he'll be back before jumping off the helicopter, so there's that.

Skydance productions is confident of its schedule and very certain, to have come out with the release dates for three films in the series. The next two in the trilogy are set to release on May 19, 2017 and June 29, 2018, respectively.
