Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are no strangers to admitting they are madly in love with one another, but the couple still manages to surprise with their comments about their marriage.

While hosting the 20th anniversary special edition of McCarthy's one-time gameshow Singled Out on her Dirty Sexy Funny radio show before Valentine's Day, the couple told E! News that they were preparing for their first long separation during their entire relationship-and it was something that was truly difficult for them.

"Valentine's Weekend, it's a little bit of a challenge for us, we have spent a Valentine's Day together before and we had the master plan, we had an amazing weekend," Wahlberg said. "This year, Jenny's working in Vegas the night before, I'm working in New York the night before on Blue Bloods. We both have killer days of work schedules, we're gonna move mountains to get together Valentine's Day and spend the day together."

McCarthy then revealed that the separation because of work would be the longest amount of time the two had spent apart.

"We're actually hurting inside because we're going to be away from each other for seven hours!" she said. "It's true!"

"That may be the longest we've been apart since we've been together," Wahlberg added. "I can't even let her got to the bathroom without me. It's very bizarre and awesome."

The couple's marriage has been chronicled on their reality series, Donnie Loves Jenny, which airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on A&E.
