Yet one more new face is set to potentially stir up additional drama on the upcoming season of Devious Maids.

Nathan Owens Joins 'Devious Maids' Cast

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cristian de la Fuente has joined the show as a series regular, and will reportedly play a mysterious character who has had a past relationship with one of the series' central maids.

It is currently unclear which maid he will be tied to, but executive producer Sabrina Wind previously indicated that Rosie's (Dania Ramirez) husband Ernesto would potentially have a major role in the show's third season after the character was revealed to be alive toward the end of the show's second season.

Naya Rivera Joins 'Devious Maids' In Recurring Role

If de la Fuente is indeed set to portray Ernesto, it would certainly complicate Rosie's love life, as she was preparing to marry Spence (Grant Show) during the show's second season finale.

De la Fuente won't be the only new face joining the series for the third season either. Earlier reports also announced the arrivals of Nathan Owens (Days of Our Lives) and Naya Rivera (Glee) as new series regulars as well.

Owens' character will be a handsome veteran named Jesse who returns stateside to settle back into civilian life, while Rivera will be playing a new made named Blanca, who works for a seemingly idealistic family, until she learns of a life-altering secret that exposes the truth.

Gilles Marini, who guest-starred at the end of season 2, and Brianna Brown, who previously served as a regular in season 1, will also be back.

No date has been revealed for the show's return.
