Another debate is set to rock this election season, but this one has no elected position to gain.

Television personalities John Stewart and Bill O'Reilly will face off against each other in a 90-minute debate on October 6 in Washington, DC.

John Stewart, the satiric anchor of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show", and Bill O'Reilly, host of Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor", have both had a long relationship of matching wits.

The organizers of the debate have stated that it will be streamed on the internet, giving a chance for the two television giants to a battle of verbal dexterity and mental cunning.

"The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium" as it's been dubbed will take place at the Lisner Auditorium on the campus of George Washington University. You can't have a good debate without a good moderator which will be E.D.Hill, an experienced news anchor that has worked for both Fox News and CNN.

In a statement, Stewart said: "I'm excited to debate Mr. O'Reilly. I believe this will be a very enjoyable night for fans of our programs, political junkies, partisans and people who just enjoy yelling."

When asked about the debate O'Reilly commented: "I had no idea my agent signed me up for this. How can I get out of it?"

The debate will likely bring a lot of brevity, hilarity and maybe even a few good points directed at a variety of political and social issues. Both figures have appeared on each others' shows as a sign of mutual respect and as a means to one-up the other.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the auditorium's box office and at lisner.org, and the live Internet stream can be ordered for $4.95 at therumble2012.com.
