Carrie Underwood Says Unborn Son Is Her No. 1 Fan

For months now the Little Toy Guns singer has talked about touring with her infant son, whom she is due to give birth to this spring.

Underwood and her husband have been withholding the exact due date for their little boy, but one date that isn't a secret is that for Underwood's first performance after pregnancy.

As it turns out, the singer intends to begin a light tour this June. This means her son will be about two months old when they begin. According to Underwood's official site, she is scheduled to perform at the Thunder On The Mountain Country Music Festival in Ozark, Ark. on June 26. After that she'll be heading to the Big Barrell Country Music Festival in Dover, DE on June 28, followed by gigs in Ohio, New York, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

All of her upcoming performances are part of larger festivals, which means Underwood won't have to spend as much time away from her son as she would if the shows focused exclusively on her music.

Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, announced that they are expecting their first child together back in September.

In January the country star announced that she was done flying for the time being, having gotten too far along in her pregnancy to board a plane. This meant she missed out on the Grammy Awards, though she eagerly watched from home on her couch.

At this time, neither Underwood nor Fisher have hinted at a definite name for their child.
