It looks like there is a good reason why Jessa Duggar hasn't announced her pregnancy yet. There's a new report indicating that Duggar, who married Ben Seewald back in November, might be taking birth control pills as she wants to postpone her plans to start a family.

According to Star Magazine's print edition on Thursday, Duggar wants to wait to have kids, as she grew up in a family with 18 other siblings. Apparently, the reality television star doesn't want to get pressured to get pregnant - for now.

The site alleges that Duggar is on birth control and that "Jessa and [husband] Ben [Seewald] are definitely active in the bedroom so it's suspicious she hasn't gotten pregnant yet."

What's more, Duggar - who is known as the most rebellious daughter from the family - is defying all of her family's expectations by putting any baby talk on hold so she can enjoy being a wife without bearing the responsibility of having to take care of a child.

A source said, "She wants to enjoy being a wife for a while. She's not like her siblings. She doesn't feel any pressure to get pregnant."

The insider added, "Jessa lived under her father's rules for her entire life. She would never tell her parents she's on birth control because she doesn't want to disappoint them, but she's making her own rules now. It's her life and she and Ben will have a child when they decide the time is right."

Meanwhile, the couple have recently revealed that they also plan on adopting in the future, too.

According to People Magazine on Wednesday, Jessa made it clear that she is definitely not pregnant and that she and Ben are looking to other options as to how they can start a family.

The 22-year-old said, "We have to adopt a lot of kids. If God blesses up with biological kids of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."
