Lindsay Lohan is in hot water yet again.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested early Wednesday morning after clipping a pedestrian with her car and leaving the scene.

Lohan arrived at the Dream Hotel in downtown Manhattan around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 19. As she attempted to park her Porsche Cayenne, Lohan reportedly hit the knee of an unknown man who was standing nearby.

One of the passengers in Lohan's car got out and checked the vehicle for damage, but everything looked fine, so the actress and her friends headed inside the hotel.

NYPD got a 911 call about the incident after Lohan went inside, E! News reported, and officers responded to the scene at the hotel.

When Lohan exited around 2:30 a.m., police were waiting for her outside. Officers took her into custody on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident.

Reports say alcohol was not a factor and Lohan was not asked to undergo a field sobriety test.

Lohan was booked on a misdemeanor charge and released around 4:30 a.m. with a desk appearance ticket. She did not have to pay bail before her release.

The incident could potentially affect Lohan's probation, which resulted from her high-profile jewelry theft case.

The man who was hit by Lohan's car, reportedly in his 30s, was not visibly injured and did not fall down during the accident, but he was reportedly taken to the hospital.
