He's been known as Jake Doe (Billy Miller) since his arrival in Port Charles, but finally, the truth will be revealed as to just who he really is on General Hospital.

Jake Makes A Controverisal Decision About His Future

Following the crimes he committed as Helena's (Constance Towers) soldier boy, he wound up in jail and was facing several charges for things including conspiracy to commit mass murder by planting a bomb aboard the Haunted Star. However, after he revealed he was being conditioned, he was examined and a device to control his mind was found implanted in his brain.

The surgery to remove it could be risky enough to kill him-but Jake wants the device gone so he can no longer be forced to commit crimes he doesn't want to. However, as he falls asleep for the procedure, he continues remembering snippets of his past life-and could shock Liz (Rebecca Herbst) by saying his real name as he goes under.

The Truth About Jake and Luke Is Revealed

"What did you say?" she asks him in a preview clip for the Thursday, Feb. 19 episode.

What no one has been aware of is that Jake is actually Jason Morgan, back from the dead. However, if he begins to remember who he really is, it could make the surgery even more risky-because his loved ones would never get to enjoy the time they had back with him while actually knowing who he was.

However, Helena has finally come clean about Jake's identity as Jason to Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), by presenting him with the wedding ring Jason wore while married to Sam (Kelly Monaco). Now, Nikolas will try to make sure his cousin knows the truth-that the husband she loved and the father of her child-is actually still alive.

"Sam. I have to tell Sam!" he says to Helena in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
