The Voice YouTube Channel uploaded a video on Wednesday, in which Shelton and Levine divulge what they were like at the age of 17 and more since "so many 17 year olds" auditioned for the show this season as mentioned in the description box of the video.

The video opens with various Blind Audition clips, in which the hopefuls are asked their age and they all share they're 17. The coaches appear to be blown away by the talent these 17 year olds have to offer.

"This is the year of 17," second-time coach Pharrell Williams declared in one of the clips.

Then Levine and Shelton candidly divulged their times as 17-year-old boys.

Levine shared being 17 "wasn't bad."

"I think by 17 I had a little more confidence," he added while mentioning he had his band and that "17 was a good year."

Shelton dished he moved to Nashville at 17.

"It's changed a lot," he said of Nashville, adding, "When I moved to Nashville, the radio sounded different, the city looked different, the circle of industry people was different.

"Sometimes I feel like a stranger when I go there," he admitted since he resides in Oklahoma these days.

Both coaches also talked about the music scenes in the respective cities they were living in at 17; Los Angeles and Nashville.

Levine said the scene in Los Angeles "was kinda weird," giving the explanation that "the '90s were in full force, but all my favorite bands were starting to get over it."

"Nashville is about great songs," Shelton said, mentioning that is what the southern city has always been about.
