Blind dates require having faith in a new partner, but those participating on the extreme versions of blind dates on season 26 of The Amazing Race may require an extra leap of it.

Hayley Excited To Potentially Find 'Mr. Right'

Laura Pierson, a 29-year-old talent booker from L.A., is one such person taking that leap on the upcoming season, and in a pre-race interview with CBS, she admitted that its exciting for her because it's a part of her newest life experiences as she turns 30.

"You know, this is something, not knowing the person, not knowing any of the guy's personality traits, what makes him tick, it's absolutely crazy to me," she said. "It's a huge leap of faith to me. I always say leap and that will appear, I'm turning 30 while on the race, and I don't know what a better way to experience my thirties than to do this. I mean, this is an amazing, crazy story."

Blair Not In It For The Money

And while the adventure is the part that seems to be most exciting for her, she isn't losing sight of the fact that she is going to be on a blind date-and hopes that her partner will be someone she can connect with.

"It's really hard to say I think, what you want in a partner," she said. "I think people are just so different, and we have our unique personality traits, and when you meet someone, I'm not saying that you know within an instant, but you pretty much know off the bat if your personalities are going to mesh or not."

"And I think the most important thing for me is feeling loved, feeling cherished and feeling like I'm important," she continued. "I'm not saying that you always have to put me first above everything, but in a relationship, that's kind of what you do. You make the person feel special, you make them feel wanted. And I think that that's something I'm not willing to sacrifice within a relationship."

The Amazing Race season 26 premieres Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
