Beyond joking about naming their son "Fly", Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher don't really know what to name their unborn child.

With the Little Toy Guns singer due to give birth this spring, she and her NHL star husband have been scratching their heads trying to come up with just the right moniker.

While Underwood and Fisher continue to scour baby name books, fans can take a guess at what the first-time parents will go with based on what's trending today.

According to Nameberry, girl names haven't changed much over the last few years, while those for boys have seen some alterations in the last decade.

This year, the top name for a girl is Sophia, while the most common name for a boy is Noah. Since Underwood is having a boy, here are the top ten names she could consider for her little bundle of joy:

As for the latest names chosen by celebrities, Nameberry lists some slightly more uncommon monikers.

In 2015 comedic actor Chris O'Dowd kept things simple with the name Art for his boy, while former Boy Meets World star Rider strong went with Indigo Baretto for his own son. Director Bryan Singer harkened back to the 1940s with Dashiell Julius William and actor Stanley Tucci opted to go with Matteo Oliver for his boy.

There's no telling whether Underwood and Fisher will opt for something traditional or a little more unique, but there are certainly plenty of options for them to choose from.

Underwood is expected to give birth this spring, though she is keeping her exact due date private for the time being.
