Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy recently promised fans that they will be seeing a "new me" in the upcoming 20th season this spring.

Chmerkovskiy tweeted to his followers this week that this upcoming season would see a bit of a change in him.

"2.24.15 tune in to @GMA for the #DWTS20 cast reveal... This is a season I think yall will thoroughly enjoy...see a brand new me. #soinspired," he tweeted.

Many of his followers were enthusiastic about this tweet while one sweetly said "what was wrong with the old you?" Then on Thursday Chmerkovskiy tweeted that he was "literally about to meet my partner RIGHT NOW #DWTS."

He then followed it up with a simple "WOW."

By the sound of it, Chmerkovskiy either has someone with a lot of potential to win or they are a big celebrity (possibly both).

Chmerkovskiy has done well since joining Dancing With the Stars in season 13, though he has not taken home the Mirrorball Trophy yet. He has been the runner-up once, with Zendaya back in season 16, while he has taken third place with Kelly Monaco in season 15 and most recently Janel Parrish in season 19.

It took Chmerkovskiy's brother Maks Chmerkovskiy 14 seasons before he finally won the Mirrorball Trophy, taking home the gold with Meryl Davis in season 18. Val could potentially take it home this season, especially with popular pros like Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Karina Smirnoff not competing.

Dancing With the Stars returns for its 20th season on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
