'Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro Has Some Suggestions For The Best Valentine's Day Treats

On Friday, Community Voices reported that TLC has, in fact, renewed the hit-series Cake Boss.

Though it has been renewed, there is no specific start time for these episodes yet.

Buddy Valastro Opens Up On His Arrest For Driving While Intoxicated, 'The Cops Did Their Job'

When the site was asked if the show had been canceled, the interviewee responded: "TLC is doing 40 more episodes of Cake Boss for airing in 2015 and 2016 in partnership with Discovery's international division. But there is no specific air date for these episodes on TLC in the U.S. at this time."

Viewers were probably also concerned after Valastro's recent run-in with the law as he was arrested for drunk driving last November.

But recently, the Cake Boss owner and star opened up to Extra TV about his driving while intoxicated arrest.

Valastro re-addressed what happened when the officers pulled him over, whether he tried to pull the celebrity card to avoid getting arrested and how he feels now that it's all over.

"It's one of those things... I was out for a business dinner, and I had one glass too many. When I got into the car I thought I was fine to drive, and obviously I wasn't, and the cops did their job," Valastro said.

So what did he learn from it all?

"Listen, I learned a valuable lesson. I really thought that I was fine. I wasn't, and it will never happen again."

But did he try to use the fact that he is a celebrity to get out of the arrest? As it turns out, he doesn't seem to remember.

"If I did say anything like that, I totally apologize to him and the police department. I'm not like that."

Valastro pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated. He had his license suspended for 90 days and paid a $300 fine.

"Listen, I paid the price. I manned up. I know that I'm wrong."
