While movie buffs were more excited about the 2015 Oscars because of the caliber of films winning awards, others had their eyes glued to the telecast for another reason-the eye-catching fashion on the Red Carpet.

Several celebrities wowed in custom outfits this year, with eye-popping colors standing out on several celebrities, while others chose some more subdued looks.

Also a popular trend among some of the best-dressed women on the carpet was gorgeous belts and embellishments on their gowns, as well as some amazing jewelry and accessories.
