Chris Brown and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran have appeared to be in a very good place in their relationship as of lately given their PDA at New York Fashion Week and more, but apparently he still knows how to aggravate her.

Brown's ex Rihanna celebrated her 27th birthday Friday, which prompted the Autumn Leaves singer to ring her up and send her some warm birthday wishes, according to Urban Islandz.

The site's source said people assume just because they're broken up they no longer speak to each other, but that's not the case.

"They are still friends and still care about each other," the source shared.

Hollywood Life reported Sunday that Brown's actions to continue to communicate with Rihanna do not sit well with Tran at all.

"Chris and Rihanna just can't cut off communication with one another," their source divulged, adding, "She actually wished Chris a happy birthday when he turned 25 last year, so he was returning the favor by wishing her many happy returns on Friday [her birthday]."

The source added they don't talk every single day, but their communication when they do talk is "harmless".

"They still have a fondness for one another, despite everything that went on, but don't have any romantic feelings," the source explained.

"Karrueche isn't happy about it. She doesn't think Chris should be contacting his exes and should concentrate on her," the source stated about Tran's unhappiness over the situation.

"He doesn't listen, however, and likes to stay friends with former girlfriends, much to her annoyance," the source further dished.

Tran apparently also communicates with her exes as a jab at him.
